eleventh task ... canceled and award ceremony
The last day dawned, and Task 72 km has been announced. A short essay in which were the turning points near Valle de Bravo. But this time there was time to turn blue thermals and very tight. Already in Startpulk It was flying so athletic. Already on the approach to the first buoy threw a pilot for a cravat the Saviour. Back at the Ridge Peñon along to the next buoy, the second rescuer was thrown near the launch site. This did not bode well for the day. Was hardly came up and flew right into the deep plains east of Valle de Bravo. But even there we found only sparse thermals and many pilots were at 30 km on the ground. Those who flew on it were also not easy and two other rescuers were thrown. A Japanese man injured in heavy and had to be rescued by helicopter. Since the helicopter cut the trajectory of the competition pilots, was the first task is stopped and in another Episode canceled.
Thus was the winner: Andi Aebi (Switzerland) with its Advance Proto is the new world champion, followed by his countryman Stefan Wyss (Niviuk Icepeak 3) and Aljaz Valic (Slovenia, GIN Boomerang 6). Won the women's Elisa Houdry (France) think before Keiko Hiraki (Japan) and Anja Kroll (Switzerland). The team ranking to decide since the start of the competition, the Czechs for themselves.
We were also able to look back on two successful weeks:
Heli ... 8th place
Alex ... 26ter place
Armin ... 36 ter Square
Tom ... 99ter place
Marion ... 7ter place in the women

I should be happy because fly with the ladies in the first third was a big challenge and I are allowed to see my name several times between known name. Above all, however, gratifying that is no longer unknown, based on my performance at this World Cup is my name and thus a woman pilot represents Austria in the paragliding scene.

Air Force Reserve Avionics Training
tenth Task
Today was the longest task of the World Cup announced: 117 km in the zig-zag flight. Also this time of the start cylinder was placed in the lowlands. But this time I was up before the start on Pe. I flew with 3100 m on the first buoy 11 km away. Unfortunately, this was not enough and I had to look again until I was back to level thermals to make. Only 30 minutes after the start I was flying to the next buoy (Ridge behind the Penon). I caught a good line and flew alone across the plains. This was a good decision, because I could turn up at 3400 meters. Without problems so I could make the second buoy and off we went to the third party (on the plateau and back into the plains). The buoy made I flew back to the plateau and could just save with a 3 m / s beard the plateau. Despite all my time flew and I flew it very low on. I could still make the next buoy, but was still on the ground to 88.9 km. Tomorrow is the last pass and I'm looking forward to it. It is something around zipper to fly every day;)

How Much For A Refrigerator Thermostat
Peñon Mandatory prevailed once again a beautiful day. This time a little more wind was predicted, we also fly the vorfanden. This time was, in contrast to the previous task, the starting radius in the lowlands. I found myself within the 6 km radius had but very low altitude. Unfortunately, I had therefore already at the first buoy my problems. It took me by to make tedious unscrewing about 45 minutes around the first buoy, but could still turn up to 3200 meters. With this height, I scanned the street towards the clouds plateau west of Pe. There I was again not high and I lost again my full height. 1800 m I wanted to end up as I go again thermals and found myself again with difficulty bootstrapping to 3100 meters. With far too much residue, I flew the rest alone. Although I managed the next buoy without problems, but I flew out of time (until 17:30 we had to be landed). I decided therefore to riskier direct line to the next inflection points behind Valle de Bravo. This line was not bad, but my height was too low and I landed just ahead of the buoy for a 64 km of 106 km flight. Since I was a bit isolated but I had to wait about an hour on the back of Hohler and only came on at sunset at Valle. Today, unfortunately, only Alex and Heli reached the goal. Tom and Armin were close to the target.

What Kinda Camera Is Fujifilm
eighth ninth Task Task Task
already on the way up to the launch site was seen due to the large number of clouds that today would be a good day. This was also confirmed when Breafing. Sun 114 km were advertised. Unlike yesterday, it was with me at the start like clockwork: a sharp start, good thermal, very good starting position. So It then went from 3400 m to the first buoy. The entire glide over, there were no thermals and at last fall for about -5 m / s ... so beautiful ... I struggled before to a small hill and turned laboriously from 1500 to to 3000. Again it was clear - was to move deep maximum sentence today. Accordingly, I have remained high even scratched and even to the 4000th The second buoy was with altitudes over 3000 no longer a problem and the next I was perfect again. Despite all that, I already saw the fly back, that some pilots anflogen the landing site, where I still had 40 km ahead of me. So I was really far behind. Now it was only the more important goal to fly. I therefore took with each rise and reached again, the flat country - took the last buoy and turned back at the slope, again for the final approach. I flew away but this time quite deep and was not sure whether this would proceed. Thank God, however, was the final approach with the wind no longer a problem. I managed the 114 miles in 3:45 h. The best thing was over an hour faster than me. It is clear again, that is pretty high at this World Cup, the level of the pilots. Another positive message: today, all Austrians in the target! To better track

Average Cost Of A Wedding In Gatlinburg
seventh anniversary
Today it was decided by the team leaders that no task will be flown. We were also probably facilitates all. At the launch site was Martin Scheel (Switzerland team principal) a speech, and the organizer. Almost all the pilots took part in the commemorative tickets and took flowers to it to drop to the landing site. At the landing site was quickly apparent that today's pilots fly was good to me as well. I needed it to me yet again to catch something. I was at the launch site but still depressed, I calmed down quickly in the air and was able to calmly think about what had happened. I was one thing clear: We are pilots in the air! We need to fly without it we would be missing something. Stefan was an avid pilot and I think he would ever want to stop that we fly, because I would not do.
