Wednesday ... fourth task
This day took us along the Ridge. 58 km should be flown - zig, zag. Today was not really high, but mostly was flying low all the way along the edge. This was the beginning really good, but unfortunately I did come after 40 km to the deep. On the plateau I could save myself just yet, but after that I could make any altitude. So I landed after 48 km next to some vines. pack up when I could see how the pilots flew over my head to the finish.
PS: now the heat is unbearable - not even in the shade. It's worth it to go flying. Upstairs there is at least cool;)
Thursday ... fifth task
expected when we arrived at the launch site we already tailwind. We immediately took refuge in the shadow of us, as even could not stand the sun at the launch site. The conditions were better and the Raca but could not start at 14:10. This time, we the route by 62 km, runs across the plains. I caught the start really well and was not very deep. On the way towards the first turn but then again I could make height. In the lowlands it was pretty slow and I sought the Führungspulk. With my height, I just flew by and caught in this perfect line. My happiness ended today and I could use every bit perfect. After the last turn of the race decided. Many pilots would return to the last bit and had this bitter repentance. I decided this time around and flew straight for the city. I was lucky and caught a beard, which brought me up to 1700. Another 10 pilots joined me and we flew 15 tons and the remaining 14 km to the target. 4 km before the finish we had to make one level, as a glide ratio of 7 but it was too little. Was incredible though, I got the best 20 to the finish. First and only woman! An absolutely great day. Six Austrians at the finish, with shoe won the race.
