Poptropica How To Buy Car

XIII Brisbane (QLD) (the campervan)

sixth day Brisbane (Qld) (Wednesday, 07/08/2009)
Weather: beautiful, bright, cloudy / Temp: 22 degrees / Wind: 1 - 4 HE

"Never trust a weatherman, but simply look out the window and you know how the weather. "For example, could the sentence be the day because this day we are greeted with an almost cloudless sky. The weather forecast for today was yesterday evening diametrically different, namely rain for" Brisbane ", in it were three independent sources ( Internet and newspaper) agreed. Not only we, but also the "Rainbow Lorikeet" delight in the unexpectedly beautiful weather.

The modern antennas are used in spite of sufficient trees by the birds for the morning toilet.

also among the campers, there are flower lovers :-) Nice looked at this feast on plastic but not exactly in Assen Harr.

After breakfast, we browse through several shops in the town center to our new digital camera. Of our three favorites, we can unfortunately only the "Canon Powershot SX10 IS" section. A comparison is therefore hardly possible. Even with the memory card we will not. The choice is really pathetic.

The "Brisbane Square" is held every Wednesday of the "Farmers Markets" instead.

We weave through the well-attended market, which besides fruits and vegetables, European bread and even offers to import Swiss cheese.

The Swiss cheese is as genuine as the seller, who immigrated from "Bern".

We buy a crispy ciabatta "and walk a little through the beautiful South Bank Parklands.

It's lunch time soon, and the seats at the "Central cafes" are beginning to fill.

Because we have the pizza of the day before yesterday tasted so good, we approve today is another :-)

seventh day Brisbane (Qld) (Thursday, 9.7.2009)
Weather: very nice / Temp: 25 degrees / Wind: 1 - 4 HE

The Eagle Street Pier, at the northeast end of downtown, is probably one of the most beautiful corners in "Brisbane".

Here are also the beautiful skyscraper in the City based, providing a fantastic backdrop.

"Last but not least, the venerable steamer" Kookaburra River Queens "here has its anchorage, which is mainly used as Essschiff.

We let us down in a the many cafés for a cappuccino at the great view on the old "Story Bridge" to enjoy with its imposing steel structure.

The small "City Ferry" we switch to the other side for "Kangaroo Point".

The view of the skyline is from this place particularly attractive.

will of course support this overwhelming impression of the magnificent skyline addition of fantastically beautiful weather. We can not get enough.

The housing situation here is certainly not the worst. Strikingly many homes here have spacious balconies or terraces.

We take the same ferry back to the Eagle Street Pier. During the subsequent tour through the city we will finally find it and buy us for our new camera has a fast SDHC memory card :-)

After "lunch" in one of the many treat "food courts" we as a conclusion of our "Brisbane" visit a pancake, because tomorrow we will leave this interesting city for seven days.

past the "Windsor Square", we walk to last time of the Victoria Bridge to the bus station.

creeps Again a bit of melancholy, for "Brisbane" We really liked very well. It is in our rankings of Australian cities behind "Sydney" in second place. have

contributed to this very positive impression, especially the beautiful location of the City on "Brisbane River with its many elegant bridges and the fascinating skyline, an attractive center with its shopping, the well-functioning public transport with natural gas powered buses, as well as the beautiful and spacious parks with restaurants, cafes and leisure facilities on both sides of the River. Especially interesting are the central "Botanic Garden" next to the river to the adjoining Eagle Street Pier and in particular the "South Bank" with the "Culture Center".

But the pleasant, peaceful and happy-looking atmosphere which radiates the multicultural residents of this city, make this city very charming. The big city is relatively clean and the people very polite and helpful. We felt in "Brisbane" well and safe.

the last time we drive by bus from the "Culture Center Station" back to the campsite.
