Sunday ... 1. Task
The sun woke us up and it promised to be a good day. Although somewhat overshadowed at midday, but we were still able to make height. The race started at 13:45, with a task of 62 km. From the beginning it was clear that it would not be easy. The wind made it very hard. Already after 17 km of the Führungspulk had reached deep at the Ridge. The strong headwind meant that after about 20 km on the ground was. Previously reached some level 3 messages on the organizer. However, it was flyable for the high altitude pilots and the race went on. I caught it better and therefore could handle the distance against the wind with enough height. Then I was but but arrogant, because few pilots were before me. So I came on the power line to a plateau, not over it and had to land just before it. After 35 km the race was over for me. Only 15 pilots reached the goal.

PS: The most beautiful was the view of the sea!


Monday ... 2. Task
Today I had to fight at the start that I was not the same on the ground. But I had still a beard, which led me to the base. In due time before race start I was ready and we took off. The first turn was not difficult and I could keep up. So I found myself in the most difficult passage (in the plains) with Tami, Armin and Peter in the same beard. We flew along almost the entire plains game. Just before the last turn I had to decide, however. Armin flew towards the hills and another in flat country, which seemed logical. However, I was undecided, and Armin was to me then after a long 3.5 m / s sink yet to decide on the plains. Too late, as it turned out. I did not have a beard any more, so 14 km before the finish on the floor. Armin just managed to turn away my landing area and reached the goal, and Martin and Sigi. Sigi was able to get with two flights to finish in first place in the standings, because even today, only 14 pilots came to the finish.

PS: adventure was the drive back to Buzet, as we pilots aufklaubten somewhere out there with a coach. Because of the narrow streets we were slow and we therefore only be achieved Buzet at 20:00.

Tuesday ... 3. Task
posts as usual today about 60 km on the task board. The weather had changed somewhat. So today the wind blew from SW and most of the time we had to fly against the wind. My screen is good, but today I noticed that it goes against the wind + speed relative rather poor. Accordingly, I was soon cut off and I had to painfully struggle forward. Even the 1,700 m at the base brought me nothing because the entire amount received by the top flight against the wind and I therefore again landed on the Ridge. I tried this and now soarend I managed pretty well. But now the buoy was in the flat land on the plan. But to go deep I was flying and caught no longer displayed beard. After 40 km I landed in a freshly mowed lawn. As you might imagine was the merging extremely difficult.
